| THE VILLAGE The Charming East and West Villages of Cambria with fine art galleries and studios, antique shops, heart warming gift shops featuring many local artists and craftspeople, and of course a great selection of award winning restaurants. WINE COUNTRY TOURS AND TASTING Our Wine Country starts just a short, beautiful 20 minute ride from Cambria on breathtaking Highway 46. You will enter a world of rolling hills and magnificent vistas, including Morro Bay, rich farmlands and the intimate wineries scattered throughout. Here you will find a rich history of winemaking and grape growing that began in 1797. Today there are more than 70 wineries and 100 vineyards growing premium wine grapes on rolling hills that vary from 700 to 1100 feet in elevation. Wine tours can be arranged via Limousine or shuttle, or tour the region by bicycle or car. Of course a picnic lunch is always worth considering. The Central Coast Wine Region is well known world wide for producing award winning wines and for a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You will be warmly welcomed at the winery tasting rooms. For

is a fun way to spend some of your time. The castle shows a taste
of the life of William Randolf Hearst and his passion for this
part of the world. His magnificent estate ‘La Cuesta Encantada”
(The Enchanted Hill) is open for tours daily except for Thanksgiving,

Walk, Bike, Kayak: Extensive hiking opportunities both in the forest and at the shoreline are available. Enjoy a walk on beautiful Moonstone Beach or East West Ranch and search the tide pools for exotic sea life. Rent a bicycle right here in town (Contact ACE Hardware for bicycle rentals: 805-927-9930) and see everything up close and personal. Take a tour guided or self guided San Simeon kayak tour and view the sea life. Another kayak options is Morro Bay Kayak Rentals. Interested in a neighborhood walk? Some guests enjoy visiting a legendary home - made entirely of junk: Nitt Wit Ridge, Cayucos. Whale Watching, Fishing Charters: A short drive to Morro Bay takes you to the region's most recommended boating company: Virg’s Landing. Explore Rural Santa Rosa Creek Road: This adventure will take you to Highway 46, Paso Robles and Templeton wine Region, but not before you experience ranch lands, farms, wooded creeks, red tailed hawks, wild turkeys and turkey vultures. Horseback Riding: Experience the South Coast of Big Sur by horseback on a private ranch and see whales, red tailed hawks, bald eagles , deer and much more.
